Terms of service
Terms of service
Last updated 9 September 2026.
1. Who you are contracting with
Coffold is a trading name of At The Printers Ltd, registered in Northern Ireland, company number NI652796, at Unit 45, Banbridge Enterprise Centre, Scarva Road, Banbridge, BT32 3QD. In these terms "we" and "us" mean At The Printers Ltd, and "you" means the person or business placing the order. Placing an order means you accept these terms.
2. The product
The Coffold carrier is a flat-packed, folding board carrier that holds two takeaway cups, printed to your own artwork. It is supplied flat and folded by hand at the point of use. It is designed for standard takeaway cups up to the aperture size stated on your order. It is not a substitute for a lid, and it is not designed to be carried by the cups alone.
3. Orders and acceptance
Your order is an offer to buy. A contract is formed when we send you an order confirmation. We may decline an order — for example if the artwork breaches section 5, if we cannot meet the quantity, or if a price has been listed in error. If we decline, we refund you in full.
4. Prices and payment
Prices shown on this shop include UK VAT at 20%. The VAT element is shown separately at checkout and on your invoice. Prices are per pack of the quantity stated, not per carrier. Delivery is charged as set out in our Shipping Policy. Payment is taken in full at checkout.
We may change prices at any time, but a change never affects an order we have already confirmed.
5. Your artwork
You are responsible for the artwork you supply. By uploading it you confirm that:
- you own it, or you have the right from the owner to have it printed;
- it does not infringe anyone's copyright, trade mark, design right or other rights;
- it is not defamatory, obscene, or unlawful in any other way.
You agree to indemnify us against any claim, loss or cost we suffer because artwork you supplied did not meet the above. We may refuse to print anything we consider unlawful or offensive, and we will refund you if we do.
You keep all rights in your artwork. You grant us a licence to reproduce it only so far as we need to in order to produce your order and to hold your saved design for reordering.
6. Proofs and approval
You approve your own proof in the Coffold Design Studio before we print. Checking that proof is your responsibility. Read the spelling, the contact details, the dates, the prices and the placement. Once you approve it we print exactly what it shows, and we cannot be held responsible for an error that was visible on an approved proof.
A digital proof shows layout and content. It is not a colour-accurate match. Colour on a screen and colour on printed board will differ. If exact colour matters to you, ask us for a printed sample before approving — we will quote for one.
7. Quantity tolerance
Print runs of this kind carry a trade tolerance of plus or minus 5% on the quantity ordered. We invoice the quantity ordered. Deliveries more than 5% short are made up or refunded.
8. Delivery and risk
Lead times are given in our Shipping Policy and are estimates, running from the moment you approve your proof — not from the moment you order. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery. Title passes when we have been paid in full.
We are not liable for delay caused by something outside our reasonable control, including courier failure, severe weather, or a material shortage. If a delay becomes unreasonable you may cancel the undelivered part of the order and we will refund it.
9. Cancellation and returns
Because each order is printed to your own artwork, the right to cancel is limited once you approve your proof. Our Returns and Refunds policy sets this out in full and forms part of these terms.
10. Our liability
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited — including, where you buy as a consumer, your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
Subject to that, our total liability for any order is limited to the price you paid for it. We are not liable for loss of profit, loss of business, loss of contracts, or any indirect or consequential loss. This section applies most strongly where you buy in the course of a business.
11. The Design Studio
The Coffold Design Studio is provided to help you prepare artwork. It is offered as-is. Automated tools that remove backgrounds or enlarge images produce a result that you must review — always check the proof, not the Studio preview. We may suspend or change the Studio at any time. You are responsible for keeping your own master copy of your artwork; the Studio is not a backup service.
12. General
If any part of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest continues to apply. Our failure to enforce a term is not a waiver of it. These terms are governed by the law of Northern Ireland, and the courts of Northern Ireland have exclusive jurisdiction — though if you are a consumer resident elsewhere in the UK you may bring proceedings in your own courts.
