Refund policy
Returns and refunds
Every Coffold carrier is printed to your own artwork. That makes it a bespoke, made-to-order product, and it changes your cancellation rights. Please read this before you approve a proof.
Before you approve your proof
You can cancel your order at any point up to the moment you approve your proof in the Design Studio, for any reason, and we will refund you in full. Email hello@coffold.com with your order number.
After you approve your proof
Once you approve your proof we send your artwork to press and buy the board. From that point the order cannot be cancelled or returned because you have changed your mind, and no refund is due.
This reflects regulation 28(1)(b) of the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, which removes the 14-day right to cancel for goods made to a consumer's own specification or clearly personalised. Your statutory rights where goods are faulty, damaged or not as described are not affected by anything on this page.
If something is wrong with your order
Tell us within 14 days of delivery and we will put it right. That covers:
- Print that does not match the proof you approved
- Damage in transit
- A short delivery, or the wrong quantity
- A manufacturing fault — mis-cut, mis-creased, or a carrier that will not fold or hold as intended
Email hello@coffold.com with your order number and photographs of the problem, including the outer carton if the issue is transit damage. Please keep the goods and the packaging until we have agreed what happens next — we may need them back, and we will pay the return carriage where the fault is ours.
Where we accept a fault we will reprint the affected quantity at no charge, or refund it, at your choice.
What is not a fault
We proof every job and print what you approve, so the following are not grounds for a refund:
- Spelling, contact details, dates or prices that were wrong on the artwork you approved
- Colour variation within commercial tolerance. Screen colour is not print colour, and litho and digital output will differ slightly between runs. If exact colour matters, ask us for a printed sample before you approve
- Low-resolution or poor-quality artwork that you supplied and approved, where we had flagged it
Overs and unders
Print runs of this kind carry a normal trade tolerance of plus or minus 5% on the ordered quantity. We invoice the quantity ordered. If a delivery falls more than 5% short we will make up the difference or refund the shortfall.
How refunds are paid
Refunds go back to the original payment method within 5 working days of us agreeing them. Your bank may take a few days more to show it.
